How a release plan works
1 · Freeze
Board revision, approved parts list and test coverage are fixed in one document both sides sign off.
2 · Qualify
A first production lot proves the process at volume before the remaining releases are scheduled.
3 · Release
Call-offs are pulled against the frozen kit, so parts are bought ahead of the schedule rather than per order.
4 · Review
Yield, defect Pareto and cost drivers are reported per lot, feeding the next release.

- Yes, against an agreed release plan. Long-lead parts are bought ahead so a call-off is not waiting on a distributor lead time.
- How are engineering changes handled?
- A change opens a new revision with its own approved parts list and first-article check; old and new revisions are never mixed in a lot.
- Which factory builds my order?
- One nominated partner factory owns a mid-volume program for the life of the release plan, so process knowledge is not rebuilt every lot.
- Can you support an audit?
- Yes. Process documents, test records and traceability data can be presented, and factory audits can be arranged with notice.
