How do turnkey, partial-turnkey, and consigned assembly differ?
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Turnkey. We buy every component on your BOM. You get one quotation covering the board, the parts and assembly. Partial turnkey. You supply some parts, and we buy the rest. List the parts you will supply on the RFQ. Consigned. You supply all components as a kit. We count the kit on arrival and report shortages before production is scheduled. You choose the model on the RFQ form. For turnkey and partial turnkey, you also tell us whether alternates are allowed. The source of each part we buy is stated in your quotation, and nothing is substituted without your approval.
